Forces In Motion
The Forces in Motion room had many interactive exhibits and activities that help you learn. One of these activities was a large fan that blew small paper gliders in the air. Each person makes their own glider out of a template or a paper cone. Another activity of the Forces in Motion room was a small racing test track. There were blank templates with two pegs on the top to customize the car. There were different sized boards to be put on the pegs so each person could choose where the center of gravity should be so it could hopefully be the fastest. There was also a large ball launcher to shoot foam balls through differently shaped holes. One would choose a position to aim for on a screen and select to shoot the ball. If the correct position is picked on the screen, the ball will go through the shaped hole. |
